Yesterday was an off-day. You woke up and didn’t feel too great about life. You didn’t want to get out of bed. When you did, you looked in the mirror and didn’t love the person looking back.

These days happen and there isn’t a lot we can do about it. It is hard to be happy all the time and it is important that we allow ourselves to take time to rest. Take time for ourselves to process our lives and just appreciate the journeys we are on.

It is just one day. Ride the storm. Be miserable for a day and get it out of your system. Indulge in duvet days, movies, candlelit bubble baths and yummy food. Spoil yourself with self-love and be gentle with the soul that you are. Take a break from social media and call friends instead. Go with the motion of the misery that tries…
